Like I said on Sunday, it was a steady progression & a steep one at that.
But YOU LOT did it! Each & every one of you should be proud of your achievement & the part you played in the team. Monkey (Skipper) well done for your individual roll & that of Team Captain, “T” (Tara) Super bowling/ batting & fielding – WHAT A CATCH!!!, “G” (Georgina) Great bowling again from you & cracking W/Keeping (Don’t EVER doubt yourself or this team again!!!!). Hope, thanks for stepping up to the plate & bowling, even though I know you really didn’t want to, you did a Great Job & whatever YOU think, you well made up for it in the field, Backing up, stopping bondaries. Thank you for setting the standard for others to follow.
Lilly, Great bowling from you too, & a super effort in the field. Kim, great bowling in the 1st game, someone’s been practicing! “AJ” (Amy) Great bowling from you, I Know you wanted to do a bit more but you did your bit batting & a superb job in the field, & it was great to HEAR you encouraging you team mates (I don’t know where you get that from???) Sasha, great job bowling & well done for “getting your body behind the ball” when you were in the field, and finally Lauren, even though you didn’t play in the Final, we wouldn’t have got there if you weren’t in the team, you did a Great Job in the field, always in the “Ready Position” & attacking the ball.
I think that’s everyone……… Oh yeah, Just one more person….. Head Coach Nigel !!!
I know I speak for all when I say a big “Thank you” for all you time support & hard work you put into not just the Girls Squad, but HCC as well, & I’d like to say thank you for letting me be a part of the Horsham Girls Squad – You’re all much better than the boys, Just stop all the “he said…., she said…..” nonsense when we’re training
I think that’s enough from me. WELL DONE U11, U13 lets keep the winning streak going, and if you HAVEN’T given your name to Nigel to say you’re available to play the U13 Tournament… WHY HAVEN’T YOU!!! I’m on holiday for 2 weeks so when I get back I want to hear great things!!!!
