Unfortunately the Pulborough match scheduled for Tuesday 28th July has been postponed to Friday 7th August at 5pm. Could those originally selected let me know if they can still play on the new date.

Just a quick reminder about the race night this Friday – we will be down at the ground buying horses and losing some money (and hopefully winning some!) and we look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. For those who didn’t go last year it was brilliant fun and everyone had a great time. See below for details:

The race night will take place on Friday 17th July, racing starts at 8pm but make sure to be there early if you want somewhere good to sit! Entry is only £2 for adults and £1 for juniors and it is sure to be great fun. We hope to see you all there!”

In memory of the late Dr John Dew Horsham Cricket Club is holding a Colts 6-a-side Kwik Cricket Festival at Horsham on the Dr Dew Ground this Sunday starting at 12:30pm. All ages of girls and boys are welcome to play in this fun Horsham CC tournament. There will be 4 mini pitches with winners of there group games playing in a semi final and then a grand Final later on Sunday afternoon. Games are played with plastic stumps, bats and soft balls and a small coned boundary. The club are running a BBQ all afternoon and the bar will be open all day for beverages. I hope that you and your children are able to attend and enjoy the afternoon. There is also a fabulous cricket game in memory of the Dr, being played from 2pm on the main ground between present Horsham CC players v a past Horsham CC players. Chris Nash, Andrew Hodd and Robin Martin-Jenkins of Sussex and Horsham CC, are invited and we hope will also be at Horsham to celebrate the afternoon.

Just a quick note to let you all know that unfortunately the game has been postponed tonight due to a waterlogged pitch. We will however be offering a hard ball practice at Horsham CC from 5pm onwards for anyone that is interested.

We will meet at Horsham CC at 17.10, if you are planning to travel direct please let us know if you are not meeting us at the club. There will be a £2 match fee to pay on the day.

Directions: When in Pulborough turn left into New Place Road, go straight over at the mini roundabout, proceed past St Marys Primary School on your left and the recreation ground will appear on your right hand side. Turn right into Link Lane and right again.

The Junior Social evening takes place today from 6.30pm at the club, there will be games as well as a barbecue. This is a family event so please bring the whole family for Just £5 …barbecue food is extra but all the games are free see you there!

Our ladies team have a league match at the ground on Sunday afternoon starting at 13.45. If you have time go along and support Sophie and the girls and take time to see what level of skill you are going to need to break into the team in the future. I am sure the Ladies would appreciate your support.

Just a quick note to let you all know about an upcoming event at the club. Horsham CC will be hosting a family social evening on Friday 5th June from 6.30pm. There will be plenty of activities on offer including Skittles, various cricket challenges and a BBQ. Entry is only £5.00 per family so make sure you come along, have a good time and support the club.
